Hot Cross Buns aren't the quickest of bakes but they are wonderful hot from the oven, slathered with butter on Easter morning.

I have put together my own twist on the classic recipe using zesty orange and dried cherries and if you would like to make your own this year, then click on the picture for my recipe in House Magazine.

The Easter weekend is a fabulous chance to spend time with family and friends and many restaurants and cafes curate their own special Easter menus to help with the celebrations.

I have hunted down some of the special menus on offer across East Dorset over the Easter weekend, as well as some great options for something a little different - click on the picture to find out more.

Its Mother's Day on Sunday 11th March and if you want to make something to give to your Mother or share with your friends and family, then this brightly coloured rainbow cake is just perfect.

Cake is a fun way to get your brand in front of your customers and rather than the often cumbersome cupcake, we love to brand our delicious chocolate brownies.

A decedent treat at the end of a event or delivered to a client to say thank you, these brownies are wrapped and finished with a branded sticker to leave your guests with your brand firmly in their minds.

The brownies pictured here were made for the Bournemouth & Poole Tourism Awards 'Meet the Finalist' event.

If you missed Pancake Day but you still want to try your hand at making your own pancakes, then click on the picture for my article published in House magazine. The pancake recipe is easy to follow and includes advice to adapt for all sorts of dietary choices and intolerances.

Pancakes are simple to make and require very basic equipment so there's no excuse not to get in the kitchen and join the fun!

It was great fun to work with M&S with the launch of their new Foodhall in Broadstone and a review of their Valentine's treats.

My family were willing volunteers, I chased the light to make the photos come to life... and then we delved in to enjoy the delicious treats.

Paultons Park opened its doors again this weekend for the summer season, complete with its new 'Little Africa' enclosure featuring all kinds of African wildlife.

I collaborated with Liz Lean PR and Paultons Park to5 create these bespoke cupcakes featuring branded toppers, fondant snakes and edible soil and they were a fun addition to their launch party.
